Community Coordinator

The Community Coordinator is responsible for managing field representatives and merchandisers. This involves scheduling store visits, training personnel, and supporting representatives in the field. From time to time, the coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting new representatives in their region. The coordinator reports to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities and Duties

The primary focus is to work with the operations team to execute projects by efficiently and effectively scheduling store visits and ensuring that their teams of representatives visit stores on schedule.
Community coordinators may spend half of their time recruiting new representatives for their assigned territory.
Working with the operations team leaders including the Head of Project Management to improve timelines and overall project execution process.
Maintain proper maintenance and health of user pools within geographic region by distributing work fairly and proportionally.
Managing help and support inquiries from representatives currently in the field on project work.
Work effectively with people from all parts of the company.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in MindBody software a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills- qualified candidates should be comfortable on the phone and working with others in person. Up to 35% of the work day can be spent on the phone. Comfort while talking to new people on the phone is a must. Written communication conforming to a style guide is a plus
Experience working in a distributed company and in cross functional teams preferred
